Comox Valley trades and getting found online
Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland each have their own feel, with plenty of rural land around them. Your site can speak to all of it without sounding like a sales pitch.
How does 19 Wing Comox affect local trades?
It brings a steady flow of families moving in and out. Many military moves happen in the summer.
Families coming in need repairs and upgrades fast. Families leaving need homes fixed up to sell. Both groups look online, since they don’t know anyone yet.
What work is common in Cumberland?
Cumberland started as a coal mining village, so it has lots of older homes, with newer builds around the edges.
Older homes there often need wiring and plumbing updates. Mention Cumberland by name if you work there.
Do rural areas like Merville and Black Creek need anything special?
They’re farm and acreage country north of Courtenay. Big shops and barns are common out there.
If you do rural work, show a photo or two. It tells people you’ll come out past town.
Is there work up at Mount Washington?
There can be. Mount Washington has chalets and condos that get heavy snow, and some owners live somewhere else.
